The dull part of the south coast
Deadly Weapons, starring Chesty Morgan.

The title and the star just about sum up the storyline. I was a lot older than being a teenager but acted like it when I saw this film. Cue much tittering and guffawing. punish:

It was Star Wars at this place - although technically I was only 11.

West is BEST
Saw plenty as a kid such as Back To The Future, Gremlins etc but as a teenager I think it would have been Last Crusade at Camberley Cannon. I remember they still sold posters and other merch in the foyet. Great days. Think we even had to queue up outside the cinema!

The days of true landmark blockbusters. Tim Burton's Batman, Star Wars, Jaws, Goonies, etc.
What now? Endless shit super hero franchises and gutless Tom Cruise ego trips. I loved 80's and 90's cinema.

Can't quite remember, it was a long time ago, but probably one of those good old British war films of the time, like 633 Squadron or Heroes Of Telemark or Carry On Up The Khyber.

What films did you first see at the cinema as a teenager.
Mine were Star Wars and Grease, at the Curzon in Bexhill.
Darth Vader and Frankie Valli, what a combination :)

I can remember have to queue half way up Western Road to get into Grease. The only film I ever had to queue for.
