I quite enjoyed Rec2 at the cinema if you're in the mood for some Exorcist-style action.
The Bournes are far superior to something as crass and mysoginistically ludicrous as Taken. They are like good Bonds, or Bonds with a human element, if you can imagine such a thing.
I say read Watchmen and don't watch the film. It's not utter crud as a movie spectacle, but any of its gnarled political sentiments and pertinence is scraped free by claw-handed Zac Snyder and his inability to create anything like "character".
I watched Hush the other night on Channel 4 and that wasn't a bad attempt at thrills and chills. You can see the Hitcher and Duel influences, but it was alrightly done and set on british motorways.
On before that was Die Hard 4.0. Brainlessly stupid and insanely OTT, but likeable nonetheless.
Oh and if you can download Salt, then do. Once again stupid-ass action, but a little bit amusing with it.
