Film tip for tonight.

[Freddie Goodwin.]

Midnight Cowboy.

Classic late 60's film with a young John Voight leaving his mid West home to be a cowboy stud in new york only to find the very seedy side of life.

Then along comes Ratzo (Dustin Hoffman) to rip him off but they eventually form a bond, the gullable cowboy and the streetwise but sickly townie.

Groundbreaking stuff, at the time, sex & drugs in the late 60's and film has a sad ending.

One of those films you should see at some time. I think it's on TCM tonight at 9.00, which probably means it'll be on a few times over the next few days.

Dunno, one of my earliest hand shandies was over Voigt and the older woman with the dog getting fruity in the hotel room - always had a bit of a granny thing
