I am currently sitting in the garden of the Nightingale in Balham, supping a pint of Old Hooky. What a superb pint. It got me thinking what is your favourite pint, other than Sussex's finest? (I know many will say that Harveys is not Sussex's finest, but I will have to disagree with them on that point. Fixtures maybe, but my present enjoyment got me thinking.

Orange juce and lemonade with a cherry on top

A man not afraid to eschew macho culture, either that or an ex-alcoholic.

As I type this in between swigs on my pint of Guinness I'd say 50% Robinsons Barley Water (diluted) and 50% pure orange juice is about as good as it gets.

Presume you are a CAMRA member & this is an in-joke? Although all were drinkable 20 years ago before Shitbread etc. got hold of them, nowadays they are muck.

We are lucky, lucky people in Sussex to have so many good regional & micro breweries located here - I grew up in Cheshire where there was Greenall Whitney and er, Greenall Whitney with occasional oasis of a Robinsons pub....
