I recently got a free trial to apple music and have downloaded a bunch of Darius's albums, and found a few really I like

Same here. Seen him live a couple of times and both were excellent, one of those goose bump moments when he played Let Her Cry

Same.

His voice is great and Let Her Cry is a superb song.

subject matter is suspect, it’s bluegrass a precursor to rockabilly.
many a bluegrass and country star dabbled briefly in Rockabilly in the mid 50s
