I always say this, cos I am a smug git that way, but both the John Smiths series of ads (top bombing, 'ave it, please release me etc), and the John West bear and fisherman fighting were conceived and directed my partner's cousin. He also does the James Bond opening titles, and directed Smashie & Nicey's farewell.

Needless to say, his country pile is now MASSIVE.

Good call. I liked the one where a woman was going out shopping and nagging her old man to do the decorating. He sits down on the sofa with a can of Heineken, and his old english sheep starts the painting.
