Paul Clark wasnt exactly slim, hence the name "Tank"

Great Player tho:clap2:

Tank wasn't fat though was he... built like Arnie. I still can remember the anticipation of the crowd as he homed in on his prey. Possibly our best ball winner.

Les Briley anyone? And who remembers the game that Frank Stapleton played for us, I think against Wycombe around 1995? I rmember one of those Brits abroad programmes, featuring Nigel Callaghan (ex-Watford), who was running a bar in Corfu. He had completely let himself go and was obviously enjoying his product rather too much:drink:

I know he was only a loan player, but Brian Dear was carrying a few extra pounds.

I think that Kerry Mayo and Scott Ramsay both suffer from chubby bones.

Alan Duffy was a porkster!

He was usually sub as well! Probably eating burgers in the first half.

Joe Corrigan was a big feller as well. Not sure if he was that fat though!

His name was Stant not Stamp. There's lots on Google.

Anyone remeber Charlie Livesey?
Once sent me and my mate to his car to get him his fags in the middle of training.

Agreed.....and he had bloody awful hair too if my memory isn't playing tricks.

A quick search on Google produced this-don't think it's 'our' Alan Duffy:lolol:

That reminds me of when we played Watford in about 1970ish. And there was thhis cloud of smoke from the Watford dug-out and looking over it wasn't their manager, it was their feckin sub chain smoking!!!!
