September 15th 2009 will see the publication of 'The Lost Symbol', which is Dan Brown's first novel since the DVC, and will again feature Robert Langdon.

Rumours suggest it will be set in Washington DC and focus on Freemasonry in some form.

Sounds good, his others were decent reads...

I just hope the Angels & Demons film adaptation isn't as shit as the DVC one was.

I'm not optimistic though, given that the character of Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca in the book has somehow morphed into an Irishman called Patrick McKenna in the film.

I hope he gets his research details correct in this one, not like whichever one it was that had action in Seville

That would be Digital Fortress (which is by FAR the worst of the ones he's written to date).
