Maybe because he might not take an interest in one person but if others wanted there's changed and post on here,it might make him think again.?

Why don't you just start a new account for the new user name?

I know they no longer let you use hotmail yahoo etc but there are other free email accounts out there they maybe have not heard of like mail2web.com that one comes with a free online version of outlook.

I've had several alius's other than marvin.

Maybe you should point out that this has the same effect as a change of avatar, ie all historical posts will bear the new name (but not quoted names), making for confusing old threads!

I think everyone should be randomly assigned someone elses username. That would confuse things a bit.
