Falmer - would you break the law?

If Falmer was turned down later this year, or delayed yet again by some politician's incompetence, after all this time......just what action would you be prepared to take? I mean, we already know that the democractic process is a sham and the electorates wishes are laughed at behind closed doors by councillors who simply spin clever statements to the press. I get the feeling that there's a real bath of blood simmering amongst the Albion faithful. Question is, do you think it'll boil into something nasty.

Personally I think everyone has a breaking point and a few must be close to breaking point like Simon V was against that wanker Bellotti.

Discuss......

You do have a good point. But by that time if Falmer was turned down i feel people would be sick to the back teeth with it and won't do much

I think it's quite possible that they would but they wouldn't be daft enough to post in on an open forum for everyone to read.

Algie, for once I agree with you. I'm not talking death-threats here, more akin to the York city pitch invasions or the like. But I concur; if the worst happened, the Albion's inevitable death would be probably be more 'fade to grey' rather than 'a blaze of glory'. The era of violent protest died decades ago, we're a far less socialist society today. Most people are just so sick of it all that it would be akin to a merciful ending after a long terminal illness. That's my view these days anyway but perhaps not shared by all. I doubt that our legacy would even be a radical review of Britain's farcical planning laws - which is somewhat apparent for sure!

Yes, weird innit? The Tories are in, and normal people protest loudly against the poll tax and football clubs being raped to within an inch of their lives.

Then Labour get in, and poshos protest loudly about not being allowed to kill things any more. Jesus.

More to the point we need to mobilise against the tree huggers when we get the YES. No doubt there will be a load of soap dodgers digging tunnels etc.

We'll obviously need to move them out to make way for the bulldozers!!

All i'm doing at the moment is venting my anti-Lib Dem feelings to anyone that will listen! (They never really bothered me in years gone by)

Unfortunately there hasn't been any sort of election in our town since LDC's latest decision.

I can't wait for one of the candidates/officials to knock on my door to see if they can "Count on my Support"
