They can go to the Court of Appeal, and after that to the House of Lords if they still don't get the answer they want. Each stage costs more cash.

Frankly this is now getting the point where it should all be decided by a penalty shoot out. It's gone on long enough and there's clearly never going to be a result otherwise.

For us, we put Prescott in goal. Slow and lumbering he may be, but he can cover much of the goalmouth with sheer bulk. And if he brings his croquet mallet, he may also be able to intimidate the penalty takers from LDC.

In theory, our penalty takers ought be Knight, Perry, Samrah etc, but I think we should pull a fast one and get Attila to bring over 5 of his mates from Germany. Germans can actually take these things, and score. So, that's 5 out of 5 for us.

LDC are bound to put a bat in goal. Fast and quick-moving, it will be difficult to beat.

Their takers will probably be led off by de Vecchi. Her technique is to hide behind her partner and sneakiily take the shot while he punches the goalkeeper. Prescott should be up to this - he knows how to absorb a left hook.

A couple of beardie wierdies from the South Downs Butterfly Protection League will probably have a go. With them, the crucial factor is that they've spent the last five years looking in the wrong direction: every picture of 'Falmer' they put out is looking away from the site of the stadium across untouched download. So it shouldn't be diffficult to convince them the goal is actually somewhere completely different from where it really is.

And their final takers will be pencilled in as members of Falmer Parish Council. But when push comes to shove, they won't acutally turn up because they've bankrupted themselves in legal fees and can't afford the boots.

5-0 to the Albion.
