Look at that sort of 'bare earth' patch the other side of Village Way. We could EASILY make that into a decent-sized car park which would help solve the Falmer transport problems and act as a park 'n' ride site for the city itself.

Whilst I don't necessarily disagree that we may need more parking provision (particularly if we ever expand) I don't think we have any hope at all of putting a car park there, if you mean South of Village Way, as that will be in the National Park.

I think expanding the parking (currently 1000 places if memory serves) at the School would be slightly easier to get past the planners.
