I'm certain this has been discussed on here before, but can't remember the outcome. The Dripping Pan will obviously never be a league standard ground, hence Lewes will never play in the football League. There seem problems enough getting the ground to Conference standard. Surely this means Lewes are condemned to never being in the FL. Now this might be fine by Lewes, but if Falmer was built surely the opportunity to ground share exists, and therefore the potential for Lewes to at some stage be in the FL? Would Falmer pass the test of being close enough to the town of Lewes?
