I do hate the fact that they do the draw too early nowadays. Only 4 teams were definitely through at the time the draw was made, with half the games either not yet played or in progress. Ridiculous.

It's ALWAYS been like that though.

What about a scenario when over half the games played on a Saturday were draws? The draw for the next round would still have been done.

It used to be on a Monday, after every game had at least had a chance to play once. There have been no draws yet in the 5th round, yet we have one 6th round game where neither of the teams is yet known.
