Player Profile

Paul Brayson
Shirt Number: 10

28-Year-old Paul hails from Newcastle and he signed for his hometown club in 1995. He was there for three years during which time he had a loan spell at Swansea City and represented England at youth level, before joining Reading. A further three seasons at Reading were followed by a similar period at Cardiff City before Paul moved to Cheltenham and last season he made 30 appearances for them scoring 7 goals. He joined Vics at the start of last season and has forged a good partnership with Jonny Allan as they unselfishly make chances for each other. Paul has scored *41 goals in just 65 appearances for Vics*. He recorded two hat tricks in last season’s FA Cup ties and made FA Cup history by twice being voted the Player of the Round (2nd Qualifying round against Frickley and then in the 1st round against Morecambe).
(*Not including this season)

Brace is a legend at Vics, I'm sure you guys are thinking of someone else. He's 28-29 and terrific with the ball at his feet, scored 12 goals from outside the area last season.

Earlier this season we would have been worried about playing against Larry Grayson...let alone Paul.
