the SHELL by preston park was 114.9 where as probably 1 mile down the road at patcham it is 118.9. RIDICULOUS?

In Grimsby , 116.9 and 130.9 per litre , which is appalling as Lindsey Oil Refinery is only about 10 miles away and the petrol is slightly cheaper in other towns further away. The petrol stations/distributors know what they can get away pricewise with Grimsby being at the end of the road to nowhere.

Probably not a good idea to fill your petrol car with diesel...........however cheap it is

I don't know about the Algarve but in Central Portugal it was about £1.30 litre for unleaded earlier this week (diesel was a bit less) and that was before the blockade.

I have tried very hard to drive top speed 70 mph on m25 etc and slowing down to 50 odd on normal roads.....I normally get about 36 MPG ( as I tend to hammer along at 90 MPHY on motorways) but I filled up the other day and I have just hit 1/2 a tank and I have done just over 270 miles at an average of 43 MPG.

With petrol being so bloody rediculously expensive, this seems like a good economy.
