Apart from the facts of your post being completely off, the situation with Hinsh was very different. He had no managerial pedigree at all, so it was a gamble whether he could even be a manager, AND a number of those defeats were to the basement teams that we needed to beat.

Having said that, it's runs of defeats like this that do send you down, no two ways about it. Keep picking up draws here and there, and avoiding the big losing streak and that will generally be enough to stay up.
