Lovely warm weather this morning.
No sign of any fog.
That means another trip to a REAL AONB.

The first support for the west arch (but may not be) may have started to sprout - quite quickly too.

A new barrier has also emerged :tantrum:
I therefore couldn't be bothered to walk the extra 12 miles to get where 5 secs would have been enough.

Good work Ev. If they're putting the supports for the arch up now, then presumably the lower tier of the west stand is going to be the last thing to be done (since they won't be able to remove the supports until the whole roof is complete)??

What are the capacities of each of the 3 tiers in the west stand?

I would guess that they will work around them once they dont need to get all the cranes and machinery so close to the stand and leave holes in the terrace like on the east side

The total capacity of the West Stand is just under 12,000 (I think) but not sure how that's divided up.

Great photos btw Ev
I know that but that wasn't what i asked.

You beat me to it Everest. I took some at about 10:30 this morning.
Is the new barrier you are talking about blocking the access alongside the university buildings at the North-West corner of the stadium?

That's the one. At the top of the steps just to the left of the last pic.
Not sure if they've put one further down by the top of the long set of steps though.

Walk down the bank (other side of hedge) and you can walk straight through

Wish I'd known that. Can't be bothered to go back now.
