I was going to go yesterday to get some more pics, but something cropped up meaning I wasn't able to go

So I stopped off on the way home this morning for a few.

The silly buggers were busy crane fighting and also going diving in the shark cage.

What a cracking way to start a day off that will otherwise revolve around waiting for IKEA delivery vans.

Truly awesome. Their isn't an adjective good enough to describe how bloody incredible this place is starting to look.

One thing is starting to perplex me though - the way the roof slopes on top of the West Stand seems to suggest that there will be little seen of any ball played above head height on the pitch.

Lets hope Gus stays in the job for a while as at least that way we will see 95% of the ball played on the floor.

Well done ev.
Love the guy in the shark cage :vuvu2:

He was perched above the west arch but had to move further to the north stand.
They had to swing him all the way round to the right to get him there because of the big crane being in the way!

Thanks for these Ev:thumbsup:

Those roof beams look frigging huge and the place really is starting to look like a stadium these days. I must get down there soon while there's still something to see from the outside.

I reckon it will be OK........surely the height of the stand will counter-balance that problem?

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Great shark cage shots Ev.
Perhaps we can give Norman Baker a ride in that, but first, the chain would have to inspected? :lolol:
Are you doing the road works?
If not, I'll do them tomorrow.

I'll let you have a go Graeme.
During the week I haven't enough time during the day.

The chain needs to be tested with NB in the cage at 100 feet in the air by Anne Robinson who could then say "you are the weakest link , goodbye"
