Thanks as always Everest. South West corner looking good. North East corner nearly enclosed.

I was up the Esporta last night, and as we drove past Falmer, the lights were on in the stadium and it looked a bit like it would for an evening game.

"sigh"

Those blue pipes - are they for beer or piss or both?

With some of the lagers served up as beer in this country it'll be tricky for the plumbers to tell which is which.

Oh, nearly forgot the really bad news

One worker has discovered that the stadium is in the wrong place, so they'll have to start all over again.

"Oh shit dinosaur bones"

Are they likely to keep the south west corner open for a while so we can still the inside from the outside

Question for NJ (unless you, JS or anybody else who knows the answer): How will the pitch be laid in relation to the black stuff being put down in front of the stands? Will it be higher/level/below?

Higher. Pitch construction thickness is around 450mm (which is what we are excavating for now), with the centre circle finished level 305mm higher than the touchlines for drainage run-off.

BoF - I believe the high bank behind the west stand will be blasted with concrete, and a retaining wall built at the bottom.
