I was just browsing the Preston messageboards and came across this post on their Brighton v Preston thread. Goodness, talk about doom and gloom!

They have an Ernest as well! No Beach Hut though

To go back to the oringinal theme this board certainly needs Ernest.

Some of the posters on here deserve to have the likes of Ernest/FG and Dwayne on here ruffling a few feathers. I do not agree what these people post at all but as I said, the way some people behave on here they deserve it.

That's not an Ernest-like post. That seems to be an intelligent and constructive analysis of Preston's strengths and weaknesses in terms of personnel, formation and tactics. A Preston Ernest would be calling for fans to camp outside the chairman's house, campaigning for the woman who works in a local chippie to be installed as manager and blaming global warming and the Third World Debt on Dick Knight (who MUST at all times be at fault for everything, including Preston's problems).
