Ever had a role in a school play?

Continuing with the gratuitous nostalgia theme, which school plays were you in (including nativity ones), and if so, what did you do?

I had a starring role once as a chicken in Jack & The Beanstalk.

What do you mean, you don't remember there being a chicken?

:lolol:

Photos of your thespian activities are, of course, welcome...

Our school put on quite a post-modern nativity play one year, in which there were some trendy modern kids walking around the streets at Christmas and characters from Frosty the Snowman, The Night before Christmas, a christmas carol etc appeared as if it were some drug induced hallucination.

I was originally in the chorus that sang Frosty the Snowman but was recast as one of the glue sniffing kids when they realised how good I was.

There must be someone who's played something like "third sheep from the left" in the nativity story?

Or the naughty kid playing the Innkeeper, who then says "come on in, we've plenty of rooms".

At my last school I appeared in about 15 plays in the five years. Bit of a thespian!

I was a brother (Isacaar) in Joseph and his technicolour what-have-you. Tim Rice came to see our performance and met us all backstage.

My favourite role had to be Sergeant Plod in Inspector Drake's Last Case. It was the joint lead role and was a sellout for all five performances. Obvious sort of humour "Shhh. There's someone coming" "It's not me sir". etc. etc.

Performed in a David Hare play and quite a few others.

I wrote a Play whilst at the Brighton, Hove etc Grammer school.

It wa about 5 tramps living the life of tramps. I ensured my part included burping and not much else. It seem to go down well.
