Depends on tomorrow night's result. Any decent pubs that are near the train station ?

I know several who don't normally go to away games that are going for this one. If we avoid defeat tomorrow night, I wouldn't be surprised to see 3k turn up at the MacAlpine. Obviously I won't be going as I'd have to face up to saying we're going down. Oh, and I'm in New York too..

There's on in the train station: Head of Steam, think a lot of away fans sup there.

In another thread someone posted some Hudds pubs and I'll back them up, Vox and Verve are <50 metres from station and serve continental lager with indie music in the background. If West Yorkshire's finest aren't being tarts and you ask nicely they'll point you when you come out of the station. Next to them is The Cherry Tree (Wetherspoon), not too cracking but police might plunk you there I dunno.

Then nearer the ground there's the Gas Club. Hot food served, and with it being last home game they might have a turn on. Usually gets really busy in there. Right next to the ground there's the Rope Walk.

Avoid Isaac's. It's the aggro pub after the Crescent was shut down a few years ago, also the Vulcan. Isaac's is on New Street and has lots of bars and pubs in and around it (Revolution/Warehouse (Scream)/Yates's/Lloyd's/Zephyr/Cotton Factory/Varsity. Shouldn't be any bother in these.

I Think you should go on mastermind with the specialist subject of "Pubs in Huddersfield"
On a serious note thanks for giving us lot some of an idea and i would say we would bring Roughly 2000 maybe more if we win tommorow because essentially we could confirm our safety against you... or if we lose tommorow you could send us down
WHAT A CRAZY GAME! But thats why we love it.....

I dont think we will bring anymore than 1500 whatever the score is tuesday night, our away attenences in comparison with our home are pretty good though and i think last time i looked we were 4th in league 1 for the amount of away fans we have taken this season,a win on saturday would set us up nicely so a 24hr flu bug will do us for Mr Booth

Cant see many more than 1000 going up, many people i know who reguarly go arent because things looked grim when the cheap train offers were about and so it was too expensive now. Its a long old drive as well, Looking forward to it though.

Pretty much all the fans are really enthusiastic about Clark, something lacking since Jackson's earlier days. Not much of his Newcastle connection has come to fruition yet, but Terry Mac seems to be keeping in touch with them lot on Merseyside because we've got a corker of a RB on loan from Liverpool. (Also a not too good striker from Everton).

Keegan is close with Black and Clark and McDermott and so the rumour picked up pace from there. The club came out and formally said Keegan was invited to speak to the club whenever he wants to (I think he had been at the club, but nothing came of it.)
