As I say, Olympic Soccerball falls on my sporting radar somewhere between Speedway and handicapped basketball.

If you mean wheelchair basketball, then I think that is a better spectacle than the able-bodied variety.

I thought the rules were that the players had to be U23, and then you are allowed to pick 3 that are over that age, Riquelme for Argentina for instance.

That's what the commentators kept saying during the last Olympics.

If the other nations don't want to be in it then fine, f*** OFF. Their incessant whinging and moaning shouldn't stop English players and fans taking part. I personally think it will be great to see GB compete in a football Olympic tournament in this country. Footballs coming home and all that.

From an English point of view England and Scotland football rivalry nowadays is like our rivalry with Crawley.

But that never existed, unless you count our 5-0 FA Cup crushing of them as "rivalry". Surely Cystal Palace would be a better example.
