England squad for the next qualifier

What would yours be? I've dropped anyone who won't be available for the World Cup in 4 years time, and picked some players that probably aren't ready for a Finals tournament at the moment but who can gain some confidence and cohesion by playing against some Andorran postmen in the qualifiers, although I've probably forgotten a few obvious choices;

GK:
Joe Hart
Paul Robinson
Ben Foster

DF:
Glenn Johnson
Micah Richards
Ashley Cole
Keiran Gibbs
Michael Dawson
Gary Cahill
Chris Smalling
Michael Mancienne

MF:
Aaron Lennon
Joe Cole
Adam Johnson
Ashley Young
Tom Huddlestone
Jack Rodwell
James Milner
Gareth Barry

FW:
Theo Walcott
Gabriel Agbonlahor
Wayne Rooney
Jermain Defoe

Ashley F*CKING Young.

NOW.

I'm guessing you meant to put him in midfield, rather than retired full back Luke Young?

Who is James Rodwell?

Who is James Rodwell?

As you probably know, I meant Jack Rodwell, the youngster at Everton.

Wilshire?

I thought about including him instead of Ashley Young. In four years time he'll be ready, although I think I'd want to see him play a full season (probably for Bolton, on loan again) rather than simply throwing him into the squad.

I agree with playing for the 2014 World Cup, I wouldnt have Joe Cole, and Smalling I am not sure about yet. Mainly because in 2 years he has gone from non league to Man Utd.

Joe Hart
Ben Foster
Scott Loach

Micah Richards
Gary Cahill
Rio Ferdinand
Ashley Cole
Steven Taylor
Keiran Gibbs
Gareth Barry
Adam Johnson
Ashley Young
Owen Hargreaves
James Milner
Aaron Lennon
Jack Rodwell
Steven Gerrard
Danny Rose
Victor Moses
Jack Wilshire
Wayne Rooney
Theo Walcott
Daniel Sturridge

Zamora isn't an international class player. He's 29 and has had one good
season for Fulham, other than that he's just about held his own at premier league level. We should take off our blue and white tinted specs.

how old is jagielka? he's a terrific centre half, far far better than terry or upson. the 2 centre halfs in this world cup should have been jagielka and dawson

As a totally impartial Welshman :) I'd have Bent ahead of Agbonlahor and I still think there's a place for Crouch.
Gerrard needs to be in there but not playing out of position because that's stupid.

Too soon for Smalling and probably for Mancienne too. Not sure who I'd have instead.
I think Baines needs to be considered.

I agree he's not international class, for a while I thought he wasn't really even premiership class, but I would still have rather had him come on instead of Heskey against the Bosch.

That's pretty much my thinking, although I'd include Joe Cole and Gareth Barry in the cull, and haven't seen anything like enough of Smalling just yet.

Damn, we're short of young English forwards, we desperately need Sturridge to come through at Chelsea.

Personally Id drop the whole lot and start again from scratch ... Id consider sniffing round at Championship level to find 11 players who actually want to represent England rather than themselves - they couldnt do any worse than this bunch of overpaid overhyped muppets ...
