I agree, all their WC song let them down a bit.

They only got famous because Chris Martin out of Coldpaly wrote a song for them.

Quite the opposite in fact. Otherwise they'd still be playing pubs with the Arctic Monkeys.

Not a huge fan of theirs to be honest, 'Ashes' is a choon but their last album 'Out Of Nothing' was just average.

Strange considering Embrace are a much better band than Coldplay.

Which song on their first album did he write then? That also got to number one and got them headlining gigs at Glastonbury ect...

I've been a long time Embrace fan. I can understand how a lot of people don't like them. Danny doesn't have the greatest voice in the world but they have loads of great songs and he's a very good lyric writer.

Chris Martin did help them get back to where they are today but unless they had an album to back up the one song it wouldn't have matter. Out of nothing and this new day are both good albums and as good as anything the band have ever done.
