Looked class last night. He lseems so much calmer on the ball when he has a defence behind him.

Hmmm.......playing against an under strength team from the division below, dont get carried away!

but agreed he looks better in midfield, thought hammond did well too, he needs to play alongside a tackler- played with a bit more freedom i thought.

He was also great against Huddersfield on Saturday so I don't think it's getting carried away at all.

Munkfish phoned me at the last minute and said he had got me a ticket. I managed to drag my arse along.

Yes he does. Im quite happy with him in there.

All good midfields have a grafter and a box to box player.

Fair enough mate...was worth the dragging in the end!

I know i've only seen one of their midfield partnerships, but it was the main area i found upsetting. I don't hate them each by any means, but neither has control, touch or grace that i could spy. El-Abd is an alright defender, but he is clearly able to dismantle rather than form. And Hammo is a sometime goon.

And i get annoyed with no A B D, easy as 1-2-3 song.

Meopham, Kent.
He's looked surprisingly good, but let's not forget how quickly we all got over excited by Lynch at centre half.

It's early days.

I thought El- Abd looked good in midfield last night, He constantly broke up Dons play and went about his game in a simple but effective way.
