I know some may not agree, but I love the fact that we are recognized in this way. The fact that, apart from one or two clubs, away Fans can expect to get on a train, packed in amongst the Home fans, wear their colours with pride, walk from the station to the ground, feel that we are pleased that they came with a local beer etc, and all without a sniff of hassle is just brilliant. The same after the game.. queue up on the ramps, have a bot of a giggle with the home fans and be on your way. My lads have grown up not knowing anything else, and I think its great.. well done us!!
All part of Martin Perry's vision (Dick Knight's too). More away fans = more revenue.
He (MP) always said that he wanted Brighton to be the fixture all away fans wanted to go to-and not because we are an easy three points.
Seems like he knew what he was talking about (as usual).
