But the "All Night Version" of The Killing Moon is the greatest 12" single of all time. FACT.

Not so keen on the reformed band, but from about 1980-1985 they ruled supreme.

My fondest live memory of them was the Hammersmith Odeon, May 1981, when support band The Blue Orchids (hugely underrated Fall spin-off band and worth the price of admission in their own right) came back onstage and joined them for the encores. Can't remember what they played - just remember it sounding fantastic.

Remember going to the Albert hall to see them 1983?..and all the flyers had that immortal phrase on "lay down thy raincoat and groove" and most of the fans had great coats ...mine ex oxfam lasted years ..infact would be pretty cool today !!
