Just seen on the news that Christopher Ecclestone ha quit as Dr Who after just one series.
Sad news as far as I'm concerned as I thought he looked very promising as the Dr.

People like Bill Nighy are too old for what is now essentially an action role and has been since the Pertwee days.

Having also watched, and thoroughly enjoyed, Casanova I'd say that David Tennant is an excellent choice.

Would you would resign a job if it required being attacked by plastic mannequin arms?

What would you feel like off if you in hospital having on of your limbs lopped off and whilst you were waiting to die, all you had to do is to watch crap like Dr Who on the BBC!

Chris Irwin (the snake man) could handle the daleks without changing his style.
