Didn't Codner once score from the half way line?

hit the search button and type in "Brighton v Watford" and select "Sport" and "Football" from the options, you'll get the extended highlights of the game.

That is f***ing brilliant. Surely it renders Seagulls World entirely pointless though? Extended match highlights AND post-match interview with McGhee, I'm sure people are paying good money for that.

Great find
that interview with McGhee was interesting... inners and outers will reach different conclusions but I was surprised to hear him say publicly that the reason we didn't score on Saturday was that "we don't have a natural goalscorer with the ability to score goals..." in the coaching trade this is known as a stable and internal attribution and not usually recommended after a disappointment or failure...

it was all the more striking (no pun intended) as the interviewer actually fed him the chance to put the lack of a goal down to the run of the ball or other factors (e.g. Chippy's absence)...

with crucial games coming up and statistically still a decent chance of survival, surely McGhee should be more upbeat about the players we do have... apparently Wenger did exactly that in his press interviews on Monday when no-one else was giving his team a prayer (a different level, but the same principle...)

4 points out of 33 tells its own story - it is hard to see how a new manager could perform any worse in the basic functions of recruiting, organising and motivating players...

He certainly did, away @ Plymouth.
If memory serves, he might even have been slightly further back.
