No more than a rumour, suggested by me.

I know a Dover fan, and she was telling me that they were "trying to sign a Brighton midfielder on loan" according to Dover Athletic FC. Talking to her, they are desperately short of anyone with a left foot, they need a passer more than a tackler, and their caretaker manager used to be in charge at Hastings when Loft was there.

It would certainly appear that it's Loft that Dover are trying to get on loan. Whether he goes there or not though is a different matter. It'll be quite a step down for him, BUT, they are a club with decent facilities for their division, and he knows the manager, so I would have thought it'll make sense.
