What's this thread doing back again?

After my buzzer fell/knocked off for the umpteenth time and now the remote buzzer which cost about £15 does not work. Aas advised by a salesman of years of experience. He says these type of buzzers (mine is made by Uni-Com) always break down. They seem like a very good idea, but they are not worth buying.

I asked him if 90% break down. He said no it was 100%. He does not even bother ringing them they are so useless.

Mine lasted for more than six months though. It is not the batteries.

We have a constant ringing type that is extremely loud!! Gives me a mini heart attack every time it goes off!
