However, Redknapp did confirm Collins Mbesuma may soon leave, saying: "We're trying to get him out on loan."

The 22-year-old frontman has made just four substitute appearances for the south-coast outfit and Redknapp added: "We're seeing what's out there for him. He needs football."

No idea what kind of player he is but surely if they are desperate to get him on loan, we're fairly local, we have some funds as McCammon and Kuipers are on loan, he can't do any worse than the strikers we have, then why not?!

Now on ask the club, if that really is a hotline to someone in the know then maybe they can investigate the possibility, must be worth a try.

read this!!! - he could be the uncovered gem we've been craving...

Rev. Jevan Kamanga
I am a passionate soccer lover from Zambia. I've been in South Africa 6 and half years. When a Zambian belongs to a certain team, I adopt that team. Collins Mbesuma did us Zambians Proud when he played for Kaizer Chiefs. The Coach at chiefs said Collins is not fat but has so much muscle. Coach Perrin, try the young man again but instead of giving him tree minutes to perform a miracle, thry the whole game. You will not be diappointed.

Kapale
Collins is the Chosen one. Look in his eyes, he is got that determination. Frankly, Mbesuma has got to where he is becuase of nothing, but, pure talent and hardwork. Nothing will stop him from delivering be it in Premier, psl or mls.

Chaps
Yes Collins needs lots of adjusting, but Perrin should start using this scoring maestro if Pompey has to score. His goal poaching skills are like Van Nistroy's, When Lua Lua drops the ball on Collins' feet,it doesn't matter if Mbesuma is marked or not, then Pompey fans will remain standing to celebrate more and more goals

sir color
Collins Mbesuma, unless he is featured pompey will not see his power to score,

Francis
Collins is a good goal poacher, he just needs time to settle and ofcourse the worlds publication of the Luanshya saga may have affected him but once he gets round that and he is given good time on the pitch then the pompey fans will realise the gem he is. Cheer up Collins and concetrate on your job boy!!
