I'm sorry, I thought football was a results game, and the results under Gritt in 97/98 were f***ing SHIT and Knight sacked him accordingly.
No disrespect to the bloke, but the fans played as much of a part in keeping us up in 97 and it's not as if he's achieved much else in his management career.
