Agree with everyone else here - going to events or travelling alone can almost be more sociable, as more likely to get drawn in to conversations. Did Watford away on my own a few weeks back and had a great evening...

After reading all comments I feel much better now as I was labeled a weirdo at work on Friday.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have sparkly costumes to finish off for my strictly come dancing snail farm

I know what you mean. They seem to fare better on the slower dances, say waltz or American smooth.
