Does the Moon look unusually bright down in Sussex at the moment?

I looked out of my kitchen window at 4.35pm and was quite staggered to see the Sun in completely the wrong place! Of course, it was the reflection of the Sun on the Moon, but I have never seen it so bright in what was fairly decent light. Most of you are 200 miles further south of me, so in the next few minutes I guess you'll have a similar level of light as we just had.

Marc is north of the Tay, where I imagine it would have been dusk at 16.40 when he posted.
I am really asking people if they have ever seen it so bright in daylight.

eh? i'm in Shoreham! and yes it is/was bloody bright, brightest i've seen in ages, damn clouds ruining my fun now though

Just visiting, or are you back in Sussex now?
It's dusk here now, with just a few whispers of cloud. When I look towards the window it looks as though I've left the outside light on!

I see; I always assumed you were a part of B&H Alba. Maybe you should change it to read 'COWDENBEATH FC'!
