With Micky Adams job supposedly on the line, Paul Brooker failing in the Premiership and Bobby Zamora's career coming to a standstill, does anyone succeed at a decent level after leaving Brighton?

Discuss.

Mark Lawrenson, Martin Keown, Dean Saunders and Ashley Neale all became world-class players.

I assume you are talking about recent times as Mark Lawrenson didn't do too bad either.

I have said before that MA managed to get the right set of players at the right time. None of them were world beaters but they clicked together.

Brian Horton's move 'up' didn't last too long either!

You're right - it is fairly rare. For every Mark Lawrenson there are about six Michael Mahoney Johnsons or Damien Hiltons

The only long-term success story is physio Mark Leather who packed his Albion kit bag and scarpered to Anfield a good many seasons ago. Believe he's still there.

Wasn't Paul Ifil a youth player for us? For what it's worth he's one of Millwall' best players now.

Also who would have believed Richie The Bear could have carved out a Div One career for himself?
