cheap car insurance.

I'm 17, learning to drive, and in a few months time i'd hopefully have passed. I should be looking then for a car of my own, but I nedd car insurance.

I have been looking but the quotes I keep getting a stupid. The lowest one i have got so far is £1,500 per annum. Which is alot.

Does anyone know where to go to get some cheap car insurance ? anyone with some off hand experience ??

if they insure 17 year olds you should get a good deal and they do 10 months policies that allow you to build up no claims bonus quicker....

If you do get insurance and have an accident I will want compensation from you for putting up my premium !!!

You'll be lucky to get cheap quote at 17, I was on my dad's policy for the first year, as all the quotes were over £1000. Tesco is quite good and norwich union can be.
