I think thee is scope for at least two others apart from Torchwood.....didnt someone at the BBC say the there would be a kiddie CBBC's version with his "daughter"

You can also have a Rose/Doctor one too

Hang on, That would be going back in time ? that would cause a rift in the time/space continuom.... mind you.. just had a thought.....

Its filmed in/near Cardiff.. so, The Doctor has no Tardis there = nowhere to live. So he gets Rose up the duff and gets a council flat.. because he cant do "normal" work he gets put on the sick and sits in their council flat drinking Kestrel Super from the local Asian corner shop ( Note how there are few out of work Asians in real life?) and he suffers a crisis of self esteem and confidence which culminates in a mental collapse when he realises he is really Scottish and that his bird has bad dentition and was planted by a ginger haired four eyed Manc who was 20 years her senior..... yep I reckon there is a series there !

It was bloody good last night, but all the goodbyes did remind of the last Lord of the Rings.

Speaking of decent BBC saturday night viewing there's a Jonathan Creek xmas special being made at the moment
