Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Working 9 to 5 - Dolly Parton, followed by
I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters, as they mix quite well together, or you can play them the other way round

Albion Dan you need to copy and paste the link from you tube after the=

The one below is from your suggestion of the Letter by Queen Samantha - (1979)

Now replace the m within the brackets on both sides of the link below with t instead and it should work

There's a 3CD set called "The best disco in town" which will have literally everything you need. I think it was about £9.99.

Now here's a poster who knows what he/she is talking about!

A lot of the suggestions on here - brilliant though I'd agree they are - are Soul; not Disco.

Try the 'Magnum Opus' set of double CDs (there are at least 3) produced by Unversal

If you want to go a bit heavier Classic Salsoul Mastercuts Volumes 1 & 2, Classic Disco Mastercuts Vl 1 and Clasic Mellow Mastercuts.

and any Philadelpia International compilations.

.

Disco music was invariably soul music and Tamla Motown until Saturday Night Fever and it's spinoffs though and therefore has a definite place in Disco music unless you are suggesting Discos only started in the mid seventies, which they clearly didn't.
