Unbelievable, you are a dirty team who's manager and assistant set poor examples to their players.

Deal with it.

You were told earlier that you didn't know what you were on about - and you come back on here to prove it. What part of 'f*** off' is too hard for you to grasp?

His mother has told him repeatedly to 'f*** off' since he was a nipper, He thinks it is a sign of affection hence why he keeps coming back. He is awaiting his award for NSC #1 Poster of the year.

That man is f***ing brilliant in everything he does....

A view obviously shared by your players, and that's why you have so many red cards against you, what a poor example he is setting to your team.

Still, you just keep on applauding what he does.

What these stats suggest to me is that the club needs to redecorate the referee's changing room with a nice pastel shade to relax the mind, maybe a tray of HobNobs laid out and some whale music in the background. These guys are clearly unchilled when they take to the field.

As Mellotron has said we are not a team of tough tacklers. If anything we GENERALLY shirk challenges and get knocked off the ball to easily.

Funny old game football innit.

That is not, in any way shape or form, proof.

Maybe as a team Brighton commit an above average amount of fouls, but the fouls they commit are worse than others? To blame the opposition is ludicrous. You have a few cloggers in your team who make terrible tackles regularly (Dunk!) and you will get booked regularly as a result.

what on earth are you basing that on?

oh right, nothing....moving on

6 fouls for a full back is quite impressive.......some full backs would get through that in a game

mauricio just loves a little latino fly off the handle rant at a ref every now and again........hardly makes him a 'dirty player'

a dirty player would be getting red cards for elbowing opponents, two footed tackles etc. not moaning about a penalty decision which was clearly incorrect

i bet his yellow cards were for arguing as well

Behave yourself if you are actually able to wind your arrogant neck in that far :tosser:

We are not a dirty side, we are a petulant side. And that is a result of the management. Frankly, it makes me slightly less proud to be an Albion fan to have our players now acting in such a way.

Quite. In which case it IS purely down to discipline. Oh, and possibly idiotic pitch watering.

Yep backchat etc etc. Agree Mr Hark tho lately we have stopped slipping over like we did earlier in the season!

The worrying thing about those statistics tables from that website is that it shows that we have had fewer shots on or off target than any other team in the division!!!!

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Having read comments about Brighton's disciplinary record I thought I would share some stats.

Although Brighton commit more fouls than the average in the division, they have actually committed less fouls than their league opposition in 16 of the 22 games they have played this season.

Twenty of Brighton's opponents have committed more fouls against Brighton than they have averaged in their other matches. The two that haven't are Burnley, who played against 9 for 80 minutes and Cardiff who got spanked 3-1.

Brighton have received the most yellow cards this season. 51 is 13 more than any other side. However their opponents in the 22 games have received a total of 53 yellow cards.

It follows that matches involving Brighton receive a higher than average number of cards. As Brighton are the only team who play in all of these games, they are statistically more likely to get yellow cards than other teams.

It could be that teams come to Brighton with the plan to defend a high line and squeeze the space. Leeds and West Ham have both stated that this was their plan. If this is a standard tactic used against Brighton it would seem that player contact would be more prevelant and consequently fouls and cards more likely.

Unfortunately, Brighton may be getting a reputation which could be the result of the tactics of their opposition.

Good points, well made.
