If you don't - you're in for a long quiet meal so better to be in the pub where it isn't so conspicuous, if you do - you can either carry on drinking and chatting, or move on to the restaurant....

Edited to add - why don't you ask her what she like to eat? Say I was thinking of booking such and such for dinner, is that OK with you?
