Not according to the O fans on their site.

It looked like a sound-recording crew / radio broadcast trio were in the brighton stand when the first went in.

They moved from the east stand past the south to the gallery seats immediately after the goal went in.

But when they were behind Jones in front of the south one of em started giving it the big one, cupping his ear and all that.

Cue lots of abuse from our lot and steward involvement, then the stewards went and fished them out the gallery and threw them out by all accounts.

Nonsense. He had to go out to get back into the press box. He did mention that the Orient fans gave him dogs' abuse as he walked past though.

A rare soiree into NSC.......(And a necessary one off before people start jumping up and down and crowing about u-turns)

If being called a "****", "gayboy", "bender", "paedophile" and being spat at whilst home stewards stand and watch it happen is the future of watching football in this country then perhaps more time with the lovely Mrs Hart looks the order of the day.

We asked for an escort from the away end to the press box, which was refused, as I had to leave the ground to get back in to the press area, as pointed out by Insider.

PS Sorry I forgot "faggot" and "sexcase".

Tickles me the fact that Brightons large gay population are made up of in the main people that lived in other parts of the country and moved here to feel part of the community, was speaking to 3 lads 2 of whom were gay from cardiff on the train last week who actually admitted going to games involving cardiff and themselves taunting other sets of fans with childish homophobic taunts,i said are you serious/? the answer was yes,the reason to fit in with the crowd. So i suppose the the cause of the hatred is partly due to the offenders ignorance or the lack of the authorities to treat such behaviour at football matches more seriously, frankly i couldnt give a toss if a smattering of spotty chavs start singing does your boyfriend ect ect but if clubs want to stamp this out then why do the police not arrest those responsible?.

Im sure if any of the dimwits who do find it funny to scream these sort of things wouldnt mind what sexual preference a person had if they were drowning and needed help,i cant imagine thier last words would be oh feck off wooly ile wait for a straight guy to come along.

Not to go on about u-turns, and such, but I remember a phone in show where one of the callers complained about homophobic abuse from away fans, and you kinda dismissed it as playful banter.

I don't blame you for reacting to the abuse, though.
