We have never sent a global email to all NSC users before, but are wanting to take this exceptional step in order to tell you that after an extended downtime we are pleased to say that NSC is back. You can access NSC at:

(the old .biz URL will be reinstated as soon as is possible)

The site is exactly as it was before it went down in April - your username, password, post count, old postings - it's all there.

Please give the site a go as soon as you are able and please report any problems you encounter. We have obtained a dedicated server to host NSC which should mean a secure future for the site.

We are aware of one problem currently - new members joining, or existing members requesting a new password are receiving email links that are invalid. We will fix this as soon as we can. However, in the interim - please look at the sticky on The Big Board for a workaround.

An email went to all NSC members. If you didn't get one it means your NSC registered email address is not what you are currently using.

CoPB - yours went to c****m@m****y.fsnet.co.uk

The email was telling people NSC was back. But as you already know that - you've probably not missed out on a lot..

That's the one I'm still using. I don't think Wanadoo filters NSC stuff out as spam, but I suppose it might.

It's the first time I've used the "email everyone" feature. Seemed to do what it says on the tin - I received quite a few Out of Office notifications and even managed to send an email to myself...

It wont let me change me email address in the profile thing as i use hotmail, therefore it is banned

I didn't get one either and I've been here longer than most. However as Bozza had the sense to put the info (including the IP address) on NSP I didn't need one.
