Went to see him years ago back when he did his songs about Dolly Partons tits and the like! The place was packed out. His last few dvd's were not so good though.
I havent really paid much attention to him, and I didn't realise he had the racist material in his act.
The commentator made a fair point which he found difficult to answer, in that the audience whilst laughing at his admittedly funny blue material were almost cheering when he told his racist jokes.
More like a political rally than a stand up performance.
The "f*** Em.." comment after asking whether there were any "blacks" in the audience took me back to be honest
It seemed to be delivered with such hate as well.
Even Bernard Manning is better at "defending" his material.
