Looking at his career stats this seems a very good signing indeed. 21 goals in a L2 promotion campaign but also a good scoring record in L1 with Blackpool (4 in 5) and Hudds (6 in 13).

Forster, Murray, Davies and Dickinson is a not bad forward quartet at all.
