Dick Knight said ten thousand people were there. Richard Evans (presenter) asked him where Norman Cook was.

Dick got in a good dig at Prezza. "It's a big issue and John Prescott is the person's who's made the decision to postponje his decision and re-oipen the public inquiry."

Good chants of ALBION could be heard in the background.

Richard Evand mentioned the EDM and asked whether there was a plan B. Dick said no and re-iterated that there was no plan B and that Prezza had not rejected Falmer.

Dick mentioned Wrexham fans. "We feel that we should have the right to compete fairly with a new stadium."

Hull, he said, had a new stadium with no inquiry.

Richard Evans challenged on the AONB issue.

"Of course the environmentalists had a case," said Dick, "but we live in a democracy."

I appreciate that Richard Evans has to give 'balance' and is merely a working joueno who could not be expected to know much about our plight but I could not help but come to the conclusion that he is a complete BELLEND with his Nimbyish approach to DK.

I think you'll find Five Live were given a very detailed briefing about our plight.

Evans asked probing questions; only what you'd expect.

He described Falmer as 'an area of beauty'. My arse it is, I used to live in Woodingdean!

It is an AONB, don't forget, whatever its aesthetic qualities. He didn't mention it was earmarked for development already though, which narked me slightly. Ho hum.
