Devils Dyke Railway

Never seen this before – a 'Steep Grade Railway' that used to trundle people up to the top of Devils Dyke! Mental!

Love old abandoned railway lines and stations.

And no, this isn't an April Fool

The train line to Devils Dyke started as Dyke Junction, then Aldrington Halt, which is now just Aldrington.

There's a block on Church Road on the North side in Hove, and it looks like that water tram contraption might be sitting in the front. I hope it is preserved somewhere

its very clearly visible from ovingdean at low tide, thats the best spot to look at it i reckon.
