First one thrashed by the headmaster in my year at Brighton College - swore at someone for slicing open my shin when playing football and overheard by housemaster's wife. I got a round of applause from the 6th Formers sitting on the bench outside Chichester (as was) when I left the HM's study. Proudest moment in education.
